Autumn/Winter 2014 Beauty Forecast: Vampy Lips feat. Fragrance Direct

Thursday, 11 September 2014

(From L-R: Anna Sui, Naeem Khan, Max Mazra, MSGM, Antonio Maraz)

Autumn sees an abundance of berry shades and dark Brown shades.
This trend was showcased on the autumn/winter catwalks of Anna Sui, Naeem Khan, Max Mazra, MSGM and Antonio Maraz. On the catwalks this trend was teamed with full coverage foundation combined with either a dark smoky eye or just a slick of mascara. Whether it’s deep burgundy, plush-plum, ruby-red or striking scarlet, the darker you go the higher the impact.

Nails: Louboutin Manicure

Friday, 31 January 2014

I recently treated myself to acrylics, I tend to go for red stilettos but this time I opted for something slightly different. After seeing a few pictures on instagram, I opted for the 'Louboutin Manicure' which is basically a polish at the top and red bottoms, like the shoe. This look has been seen on the likes of Adele and Rihanna and for me it is a sure winner. I am actually in love with them and people are often mesmerised when they realise the inside of my nails are red. I got my nails done at Pink and Whites Nails in Leicester, which I would recommend if you're looking for a decent nail salon in the area. When I told the man what I wanted he was slightly confused because he said he'd never seen anything like it before, but he did it anyways and he did a great job.

This look is actually easy to achieve at home on natural nails which I may do a tutorial on later but if you search on youtube you will probably find something.

Beauty: My Perfume Collection

Friday, 24 January 2014

I was never a big fan of perfume but since October it has become a little love of mine. I love pretty packaging and girly sweet perfumes. I'm not a fan of anything too flowery I prefer sweet and fruity.
I tend to go for very feminine and wearable perfumes, and have a lot of firm favourites! As you may notice I have a lot celebrity perfumes as opposed to designer ones, I have noticed celebrity perfumes tend to be sweet and fruity as for designer perfumes tend to be flowery. I'm currently growing my collection and hope to add more and more in the future but for now this is my collection.
