Beauty: BeautyUK Lipsticks Review + Swatches

BeautyUK is a high quality, super affordable makeup brand exclusively available at Superdrug and their own website. I was recently given the opportunity to review these BeautyUK Lipsticks after alot of deliberation I chose snob, plumaliscious and gossip girl. All three are beautiful shades of pink/purple. Firstly I love the packaging, I think makeup packaging should either be really simple and minimal or really fancy and striking. BeautyUK opted for the more minimal route reminiscent of MUA or Mac. Their products are really affordable and when you consider the price - amazing quality. All the lipsticks have this lovely minty smell and taste which was pleasantly surprising.

Plumaliscious

Before I swatched it I was under the assumption it would be like MAC Dark Side but instead it was exactly like a plum, a deep pinkish purple. The texture is lovely aswell, it's very moisturizing and pigmented.  

Snob

This is a beautiful mauve pink lipstick with blue undertones. My only problem with this lipstick is the texture, I was expecting a completely matte lipstick but it's not really matte and the lipstick moves around while applying it. I mean it's nothing a lipliner and vaseline can't solve.

Gossip Girl

Now Gossip Girl is definitely my favourite one of them all. It is a fuschia pink with satin shimmers. I don't usually like shimmery lipstick but this isn't that noticeable it just adds a dimension  to the lipstick.
