Collection Review : Adama Paris Colour Block Collection

Sunday 10 August 2014

Adama Paris showcased her colour block collection at Africa Fashion Week and it was by far one of the best collections that graced the runway. Adama Paris is a fashion label ran by Senegalese fashion designer Adama Ndiaye. The collection packed a punch and left me in utter awe. Colour Block is a big spring/summer trend and Adama Paris tackled this trend with beautiful orange, yellow, blue and green hues and shapes reminiscent of the 60s. There were high-low dresses, flared skirts and gorgeous sheer overlays. The conservative  high necks were contrasted by sheer fabrics and peak-a-boo cuts making it conservatively provocative.

fuschia pink, orange, green, turquoise, cobalt blue, china blue, coral red
